Title: The way we display license information could be more in keeping with the open source ethos Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Binary package hint: software-center We could use the license information to celebrate open source more. This could be done as a special 'badge' that the open source apps get to display or simply by stating that an app is Free and Open Source rather than just free. This requires a little bit of thought and discussion but I suggest that this information could be made to work harder and more usefully.
