A couple possible solutions I see - 1. Change gnome-cards-data to 'Recommend' as opposed to 'Suggest' dependency. This would be easiest, but some folks may not like it if it adds size to the installer. (Is aisleriot part of the installer?)
2. Add "Is gnome-cards-data package installed?" to the error message so it's not as vague. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to aisleriot in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1183742 Title: Unable to install card themes Status in One Hundred Paper Cuts: Triaged Status in “aisleriot” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: **************** HOW TO REPRODUCE **************** - Go to the "View / Card style / Install card themes...". ********* BEHAVIOUR ********* - EXPECTED: To be able to install new card themes. - REAL: The error message "The catalogue file «/usr/share/aisleriot/aisleriot.catalog» doesn't exist." is shown.
