A couple possible solutions I see -

1. Change gnome-cards-data to 'Recommend' as opposed to 'Suggest'
dependency. This would be easiest, but some folks may not like it if it
adds size to the installer. (Is aisleriot part of the installer?)

2. Add "Is gnome-cards-data package installed?" to the error message so
it's not as vague.
