Steps to reproduce the issue:

- Open Pidgin (connected to Facebook chat).
- Sending computer to Standby.
- Resume machine.
- Check running processes in system monitor.

Expected Result: Number of running pidgin processes doesn't change
significant.

Actual Result: Every time the machine wakes up from standby, another
pidgin process gets spawned.
