[Dell XPS 14] Mic not working in Ubuntu 12.04
Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
The microphone is not working in 12.04, whereas 11.10 was ok. This is
on a Dell XPS 14 laptop. No input device is detected in sound
settings. Can be reproduced by trying Google Talk voice/video chat,
and Skype.
