Neither libcheese nor cheese-common are a user app, they are just a
library and support files.

The 'cheese' package contains the webcam app and can easily be removed
from Ubuntu GNOME.

Bug description:
  Ubuntu Gnome as of 2013-08-30. Trying to purge 'cheese-common' results
  in the attempt to remove gnome-contacts etc. See screenshot.

  This should pull out cheese and it's deps. But why is it trying to
  remove all those essesntial packages?
