Title:
8086:3582 [855gm] black screen at logon screen on 1st boot after
install
Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client
I am a newbie using 9.1 with no problem. Using synpac updates I am up to date
and tried to upgrade. The upgrade to 10.4 downloade fine but on re booting the
logo and flashing dots appeared and then a flash of colour followed by a blank
screen.
As I was going for a full install I had no option but to re install 9.1. I
also obtained a new 10.4 LTS distro from a friend, tried that but with the same
result.
