Title:
  Benchmark window preselects write test

Status in GNOME Disks:
  Invalid
Status in “gnome-disk-utility” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Ubuntu 12.10beta2
  gnome-disk-utility 3.6.0-0ubuntu1

The Benchmark window contains a rather unobvious checkbox for a "write
test" which is preselected. Since this test is destructive, it should
not be preselected on drives that contain partitions or data, and it
should be disabled on the drive where the root directory "/" is
  located.
