Title: Missing file extension for documents send as attachment Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Hello Folks, I am using LibreOffice in Ubuntu 11.04 and try to send a file via mail from the file menu. This is not possible as the extension of the attachment, which is created somewhere in /tmp/.../, is not set properly. Thus, I have to save the file and attach it manually. To reproduce, try the following: - Create a new File "Foo.odf" - From menu, select "File" -> "Send Document As ..." (hope this is the english entry, I have german version) - Select "As PDF Document" - Confirm the Dialog (Thunderbird will open if configured) - The created attachment will point to "/tmp/.../Foo" instead of "/tmp/.../Foo.pdf" (i.e file extension is missing) Further observations: -> Foo.pdf file exists in /tmp/... -> The "Send Document As.." entries will all fail. It does not matter if you choose PDF or send the file directly as odf. I am using: LibreOffice 3.3.2 OOO330m19 (Build:202) tag libreoffice-3.3.2.2, Ubuntu package 1:3.3.2-1ubuntu5 I also checked if this works in Suse. The version there was: LibreOffice 3.3.1 OOO330m19 (Build:8) tag libreoffice-3.3.1.2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/815386/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
