Yes, I confirm what Darrell says but for Ubuntu 13.04. Running dia-normal 0.97.2 on ubuntu 13.04 renders exactly one mangled letter in each of about 30% of the words in the exported files. Most of the mangled letters are uppercase but few lower case letters are also affected.
