Bug description:
Hey,
Currently in Saucy we're using the gstreamer 1.0 stack based on the
1.1.4 development release. Gstreamer 1.2 was released at 09-24, as the
first release of the stable 1.2 series.
The 1.2 based packages are already available in Debian (unstable), and
brings mostly bugfixes, but a few extra features in some plugins. This
FFe is a request to also update our Gstreamer stack to the 1.2 stable
release, reducing possible bugfixing related issues after the release
as we would not be on top of a development snapshot (besides being the
one already available in Debian).
List of packages affected:
gstreamer1.0
gst-plugins-base1.0
gst-plugins-good1.0
gst-plugins-bad1.0
gst-plugins-ugly1.0
Attached the changelog per package, comparing with the 1.1.4 release.
Packages can be found at https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-
desktop/+archive/gstreamer-1.1.
