                     1) as I think I mentioned, I am (obviously) not as 
well up on this stuff as you. Hence my question as to where exactly I 
should specify
                      "try specify radeon.audio=1"
                      In a moment of madness, probably due to lack of 
sleep, I decided to take this literally; opened a terminal and typed in; 
and LO & BEHOLD my terminal divined my wishes; informed me that if if 
only I were to apt-get hold of a small genie called Spectacle and his 
half dozen minions; that I could indeed specify to my hearts content!
                      However, it turns out that...
                      "radeon.audio" does not exist!, my Genie regrets.

                       2) I have likewise scanned my Logs in vain for 
any "message drm: radeon chip audio enabling support"

              As the summary mentions , this is a "continuation" ofBug#1231730.
               In order to collect all the neccessary diagnostics, with a 
different hardware configuration:- that is with the original computer ( AMD 
2-core ) actually CONNECTED via HDMI  to the Sharp TV Display,this is reported 
as a separate Bug.
               This is information that I believe relevant to my dialogue with 
my Watcher (Raymond (superquad-vortex2))
