Printer HP Deskjet 500 does not print last row of test page
Detail of error: prints 95 % of test page, then stops before the last line
which is the bottom line of the rectangular frame around the test page and some
5 millimeter of left frame side and some 5 millimeter of right frame side
Printer stops and does not throw out paper.
Printer has to be set offline and paper forward function enabled to drive out
paper.
Printer prints first page always if document has more than one page. Printer
then stops at last page without finishing it (similar as test page printing
error).

Ubuntu 12.04 always latest update between September 2012 and September 2013
Same error from the beginning September 2012 to September 2013
Computer runs with latest BIOS of computer manufacturer

Ubuntu driver software offers 5 options, all 5 fail:

2) CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.8-pre1: stops before printing last row of last page
one time observed: prints full test page
3) Foomatic/djet500: stops before printing last row of last page
