  PCI/internal sound card not detected

Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I'm using a second-hand motherboard with a known error such as a faulty RAM 
slot.
  Board number : lga775 intel motherboard (e210882) (D33025)

  Description:  Ubuntu 13.04

  The sound did not work on a Windos OS either
  I have searched multiple resources and found that default drivers are 
istalled for the OS, but aren't used for whatever reason. 
  on running the code: 
             find /lib/modules/`uname -r` | grep snd
  I found the lists of installed packages I will post if propted to do so.
