  simple-scan crashed with SIGSEGV

Status in “simple-scan” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Crash happened when trying to open the program settings. I clicked Documents 
-> Settings, but instead of opening the settings dialog, the program crashed.
  This is the first time this has happened. Usually, the program works fine, 
including the settings.
