I cannot see what I'm typing when renaming files on the desktop

Bug description:
Steps to reproduce:
1) Right click on the desktop and create a new empty document (New Document
-> Empty Document)
2) Rename the file
3) Observe that you can hardly see what you're typing because the filename
text is now black.
