I then decided to go for amd64 and everything was fine until I tried to use LyX in Korean. The Input Engine doesn't work at all, in all kinds of Keyboard Mappings, except for the "Romaja" mapping, which is not in use in Korea, and, because of that, takes a very long time to get accustomed to. I have already filed an issue at IBus development group, but, since this is not IBus's problem, I decided to report a bug here. The issue filed can be seen here: http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1447&sort=-id&colspec=ID%20Component%20Type%20Status%20Priority%20Stars%20Milestone%20Owner%20Summary Thank you for the good job! I hope to see a solution soon. ---- Description: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Release: 12.04 ibus-hangul: Instalado: 1.3.1-3build1 Candidato: 1.3.1-3build1 Tabela de versão: *** 1.3.1-3build1 0 500 http://ftp.daum.net/ubuntu/ precise/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status In LyX, when I type anything in Korean, say, "안녕하사요", the IM just doesn't work and I get the exact key strokes, like: "dkssudgktpdy".
