Title:
  LightDM sets wrong keyboard settings for a session

Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I use i3 as my WM at the moment. I have the following settings
  /etc/default/keyboard:

  XKBMODEL="pc105"
  XKBLAYOUT="us"
  XKBVARIANT=""
  XKBOPTIONS="compose:caps"

  - When I run sudo dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration these settings get
activated (as expected).
  - When logout and login to my i3 session these settings stop working.
  - When I switch my login manager to GDM these settings work.

  I'm using Saucy so it might be also some new change in the unstable
  version (perhaps ConsoleKit to logind change?).
