Why is this still marked as incomplete? What is missing? The same problem has been reported by several users on the Kubuntu mailing list already, as well as on the KDE forums.

Problem: no sound after the upgrade from Raring to Saucy beta2. A second screen is attached over HDMI, and the sound outputs to "Internal Audio Digital Stereo (HDMI)" while the default "Internal Audio Analog Stereo" is grayed out. Solution: running systemsettings with kdesudo I found that there is no default profile set in the Pulseaudio settings.
