Title:
Unable to connect to wifi AP

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
For the last couple of months I have been unable to connect to my
wireless access point using Ubuntu. When I try to connect, the system
sees the AP, and asks for the password, and then thinks for a while
before asking me for my password again.

I found another bug which suggested to remove "system-ca-certs=true"
from the config file. But this wasn't found in the config file. I
tried to add "system-ca-certs=false" but this didn't solve the issue.

I've tried two different pieces of hardware (the one which I have used
immediately prior to submitting this bug is as ASUS USB-N13) as well
as all of the different security settings on the access point. All my
other devices (phone, table, TV) are able to connect to the AP without
problems. I am currently using a fresh install of Ubuntu 13.04. I was
unable to try 13.10 because the live usb wouldn't load on my system.

I hope that the information submitted with this bug is enough to
diagnose the issue, but please let me know if further information is
  needed.

  Many thanks for your time,

  Matt
