This problem seems to now be resolved by two circumstances, at least for me as a Canadian user:
1. Amazon Canada now provides access to the kindle store, so there isn't as much need to visit Amazon.com 2. the app now (in 13.10) takes me to amazon.com So it may be ok to mark this as "fix released"... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libunity-webapps in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1055934 Title: click amazon icon on launcher in 12.10 will bring you to amazon.cn, instead of amazon.com Status in “libunity-webapps” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: latest update Quantal, located in China, when click on the icon on unity's launcher of Amazon will bring you to amazon.cn.
