I have already reported it on Gnome Filezilla: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=711044
PS: Please do not send me upstream to bomb them over there, even if it is an upstream bug, it in Ubuntu which is unusable, normal users do not and should not care it is Gnome over there which does not work as expected. ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #711044 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=711044 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1245745 Title: Loading larger folders with images takes a lot of time Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I have lots of pictures on my computer and they are taken on digital camera. It makes them 1-6 MB each, and it is common to have 300-500 files in one folder. But using Nautilus to navigate there is a huge error, until I can do anything in that folder, it takes more than a minute. The file list does not appear instantly, but files appear as they get a thumbnail. See the attached screen recording, in my case it took more than 1 minute and 10 seconds to be able to do anything in that folder. It is a blocking bug. And thumbs do not have a standard size, like a square, they are shows upper/lower depending on the portrait/landscape type of picture.
