While this was initially designed and meant this way (only result activation and preview requests are included in the metrics), it became a problem since Unity was changed to display previews by default, and only activate items on double click - the metrics are now not very useful, since they mostly just show preview requests and few activations. This needs to be fixed by counting any preview action as activation for metrics purposes. This is crucial for improving relevancy and accuracy of Smart Scopes results.
