Title:
Creating a new hidden folder / document causes the displayed name to
revert to "Untitled Folder" / "Untitled Document"
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
This isn't a critical bug at all, but it is a small GUI problem that I
thought would be worth mentioning.
When you create a hidden "dot" folder, say `.ssh` using the Nautilus
GUI, the folder's name appears to revert to "Untitled Folder" (the
default folder name"). However, if you deselect the new folder, the
"Untitled Folder" graphic will disappear. Pressing Ctrl+H to show
hidden folders shows that the dot folder has been created
successfully.
This bug does not affect functionality in any significant way.
