Title:
option to not display hidden files doesn't apply directly after rename
Status in Nautilus:
Confirmed
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Bug description:
when creating a new file, or renaming an existing file on a remote FS
(ftp), to a hidden file name (starting with a .) the file remains
vissible with its old name, and clicking on it gives the expected
"file unavailable" error.
Files which are being renamed to a hidden filename should be made
invissible on "save".
Refreshing nautilus removes the file icon.
