Nautilus will not display the directory contents of a mounted windows 2003
share. I have a top level directory from an E drive on the 2003 machine mounted
to ~/mnt/dir. When I do an "ls ~/mnt/c_web", ls displays the directory
contents, but also displays an error msg:
ls c_web
ls: cannot access c_web/pagefile.sys: Text file busy
It seems like nautlius cannot display the directory listing because of
the pagefile.sys being busy. When I access the share directly into a
specified directory using: "~/mnt/c_web/php" - it will list all of the
contents of that directory.
Here's the mount point in /etc/fstab:
//wmciweb/C$ /home/jfuentes/mnt/c_web smbfs
user=**,password=**,uid=1000,gid=1000
