It happened to me as well. I semi-maximize a LibreOffice program to the left or right (holding the title bar to the left or right), then I maximize the window holding the title bar towards the top of the screen. The animation of fullscreen comes up, but the system freezes. The mouse works, but no clicks do. Also, the cursor stays with the "hand grabbing" icon.
