It seem rather then Xorg is the Kernel is unstable (nouveau -> TRAP->
compiz). therefore GUI is unstable and then crash after 10 minutes, mouse
moving but graphic fade to black.
The only way to reboot is through "alt+sysrq +RSEINUB".

Status in “xserver-xorg-video-nouveau” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
After editing something in CCSM the unity dash and panels quit and compiz

  with

  an tty1 (ctrl-alt-f1)

  After
  unity --replace
in a terminal window on the "repared" session , the screen corrupts again
(requiring compiz --replace)
