Title:
Wrong number of unread mails in imap folders
Status in The Evolution Mail & Calendaring Tool:
Fix Released
Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: evolution
Evolution 2.24.1 (2.24.1-0ubuntu2) in Ubuntu 8.10
What you expected to happen:
When new mail is fetched from an imap server or when unread mails are
marked as read by simply reading them I expect the number of unread
mails in the folder tab to be updated automatically.
What happened instead:
When new emails are fetched from my imap server (german email provider
GMX) or when I mark emails as read by reading them, the number of
unread mails in my imap folders are not updated.
Occasionaly when I right-click on a folder the number is updated.
Sometimes renewing of a folder works, too.
