Title:
Implement IDLE in the IMAP protocol

Status in The Evolution Mail & Calendaring Tool:
  Expired
Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: evolution

I realize there is a bug already entered at gnome.org, but I was
wondering if possibly Ubuntu members could help out in getting IDLE
implemented with the IMAP protocol in Evolution.

Most major clients use this now:

If this is too big of an undertaking, what about adding Thunderbird
  integration into the Gnome/Ubuntu desktop.
