Bug description:
Binary package hint: evolution
Hello,
This is a feature mainly needed for GMail users as GMail works differently
than most IMAP servers (although the Spam folder is doubly useful for any email
service which also uses a spam folder)
I would like to see a feature which allowed me to manually set both the
spam and trash folders for each account. The spam folder is useful as the
server will 'learn' what is spam and what is not based on the spam filter rules
and the trash folder is mainly for GMail as GMail archives messages rather than
deleting them so you will need to delete messages twice to actually delete them
(or manually drag them into the GMail>Trash folder). This can be achieved in
Thunderbird with some know-how, however, Thunderbird doesn't support a calendar
natively and the Evolution calendar is built into Ubuntu so it would make sense
to add this functionality to Ubuntu. Also, it would mean another reason that
Evolution is better than Thunderbird as it takes some serious configuring to
actually change over the Trash folder in Thunderbird.
Thanks in advance and thanks for your wonderful program!
