This just started happening to me on 24.1.0. I was getting some weird folder behavior with IMAP so I deleted everyting out of ~/.thunderbird/abcd5678.default/ImapMail/myserver.com EXCEPT the msgFilterRules.dat file. My folders are fine now. I can run the filters manully, but they never run automatically. Also, when I go to the Message Filters window the checkboxes no longer appear in the Enabled column - it's just blank. I've tried with a fresh msgFilterRules.dat file but the problem persists regardless.
