Fresh install of Kubuntu 13.10. When connected to the vpn, the icon displayed is the 'no connection' one with the red circle. This is for both wired and wireless. Expected: To see the vpn lock icon What Happened: The 'no connection' icon was displayed Notes: -This may be related to the network monitor widget not showing any tap0 traffic. -The vpn connection was indeed active, checked using the ifconfig command repeatedly and it showed the packet counts changing.
