Title:
  minimum window width too wide

Status in “gnome-sudoku” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
The gnome-sudoku window opens with ~1128 pixels minimum width which means
that by the default window size the empty space on both sides of the square
game board is as big as the board itself. It is not possible to resize the
window horizontally below that limit, while there is no limit at all for
vertical resizing.
This limit is wider than some screens and considering that the game is a
square + toolbar, it would only make sense with a window height bigger than
1128px, higher than most screens.

It would rather be extremely practical having no limit, so that sudoku
can be sized into a part (quarter or right side) of the screen, think
also of what is called the "side stage" on the Ubuntu tablets.

  Description: Ubuntu 13.04
  Release: 13.04

  gnome-sudoku 1:3.8.1-0ubuntu2
