unity-greeter is not used for lockscreen
Status in “unity-greeter” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
the unity-greeter (lightDM) is not used if i lock the screen or the screen
locks automatically after a time.
instead of unity-greeter the old Gnome lockscreen password dialog shows up
(gnome-screensaver?)
this is a consistency problem.
