Same thing here. This is a very annoying bug. Once you have minimized
it, you cannot re-connect, unless you kill the process and relaunch it.

Title:
Remina Remote Desktop Client cannot be minimized from fullscreen

Status in “remmina” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  OS: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

Today Ubuntu installed a bunch of updates.

Subsequently, if a connection is established using Remina in full
screen mode the application cannot be minimized.

  Replication steps:

  . Launch Remmina.
. Connect to a remote desktop session using RDP protocol.
. Move the mouse pointer to the top center of the display to drop down the
toolbar.
  . Click the minimize button.

The "minimize window" animation is displayed but the screen does not
  change.

Remmina is now in a broken state. It can neither be interacted with
nor can it be closed, minimized or otherwise manipulated.

  Workaround: Alt-tab displays the desktop.
