Unfortunately, that didn't work.

However, I don't think this is a bug in Firefox anymore. The same thing
happens with the Opera browser and with Chromium. So I guess it's
probably either a problem in flashplugin-installer or a problem
specifically on their site.

  New

Bug description:
  After the recent update, various websites (ex.
  http://www.ctv.ca/TheBigBangTheory/video.aspx?vid=133084) no longer
  recognize that the Flash player (the standard Adobe one) is installed.
  They thus refuse to play Flash video.

  That page displayed fine until immediately after the update.

  Here is the lsb_release -rd output:
