Actually, the site behaves the same way for me on FF. It's possible that
the site is checking for a more recent version of Flash than what Adobe
offers for non-Chrome browsers (11.2.x).

Try Google Chrome, as it uses a special built-in version of Flash (>=
11.8.x).

Title:
web sites no longer recognize flash player is installed

Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
After the recent update, various websites (ex.
  http://www.ctv.ca/TheBigBangTheory/video.aspx?vid=133084) no longer
recognize that the Flash player (the standard Adobe one) is installed.
They thus refuse to play Flash video.

That page displayed fine until immediately after the update.
