Title:
Shotwell reports that images are unable to be imported due to a
hardware issue erroneously
Status in “shotwell” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
When attempting to import images from a SD card, Shotwell reported
that the images could not be imported due to a hardware issue, when,
in fact, there was no hardware issue; it was just unable to write to
the photos folder. In this case, a correct, and preferably helpful
error message should be shown.
