This sounds like a performance issue in fglrx with the GNOME shell. I'm
reassigning this to the fglrx-installer package, as fglrx-pxpress is
just a helper.

Bug description:
Hello,
I've installed fglrx-pxpress on Ubuntu 13.10 and 12.04.3 and it's with
a really poor performance on both operating systems. I am using GNOME
shell and it's really lagged. Using radeon/vgaswitcheroo the
performance is better but it's freezing the entire Xorg after some
usage time.
