Title:
Login Keyboard Layout Icon: inacurate while loging in after inactivity
Status in “lightdm” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
1) Add seccondary keyboard layout (I am using EN Dvorak), and be sure one can
cycle through layouts with hot-keys
2) leave system to dim screen while in 'secondary' mode (note: icon, in my
case, shows EN^2 correctly in the menu bar)
3) wake screen from dimming
4) attempt to use keyboard as indicated by Layout Icon to right of passwork
entry area: This will fail (usualy icon non-present, but when present, icon
will show EN (qwerty), as opposed to EN^2).
5) attempt to use keboard mapping as last used before inactivity dim: This
will succeed (wm seems to be working in last-used keyboard layout at this stage)
I do not have application-specific keyboard layouts enabled.
I am not aware of a way to image-capture the screen, other than taking
a video for you.
Oh:
13.10_32
Stock WM (having a hard time finding a package name, here ;) for upgrading
from 13.04. Please provide instructions for detecting wm type/build.
