Hi,
I am very new to Ubuntu 12.04 and Linux in general.
I have gone through a basic troubleshooting procedure according to:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SoundTroubleshooting
1. set output levels in alsa-mixer to maximum
2. my soundcard is recognised by the system (sorry, the result is in
Hungarian):

somebody can help, but please be specific about what to type into Terminal,
because I do not yet understand Linux phrases.
