Does anyone kows if there are any workarounds, maybe like using a different WebDav client and not using nautilus+gvfsd-dav ? This bug is very annoying especially since it is a big regression from ubuntu 12 series where it all worked flowessly for me ...

Every time the time of timeout is different. Workaround is to kill gvfsd-dav process every time it "hangs". But it is very annoying. There was no problem in Ubuntu 13.04.
