Same here, but it also happen on the play button in Rhythmbox itself. It is an almost-certainty after the first login or boot (for me this is virtually the same thing). Time counter and slider stay on 0:00, one core goes to 100%, UI freezes. Closing brings up the dialog if I want to kill it. Doing so and restarting Rhythmbox most of the times fixes the problem, but not always.
Most definately started after moving from 13:04 to 13:10. Hope this helps.
