Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but this appears to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to cross privilege boundaries nor directly cause loss of data/privacy. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find.

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Hi, I can't manage to reproduce the bug right now, I should have taken a screenshot when it occurred, but I came accross a very strange bug yesterday. The conditions were the following: 1. I started soffice (version Version: 4.1.3.2 Build ID: 410m0(Build:2)) from command-line and asked for a new text document 2. I started writing text with many itemize and sub-itemize 3. at some subitems, I deleted the bullet and used tabs&spaces to align with the text of the item above. [to get a result that looks visually like this line and the above] 4. I asked for saving the file and used the .doc extension. I accepted the proposed Word97/2000/XP/2003 format. Maybe step 4 was in fact between step 1&2 or 2&3. Whatever... I some point, when I put the cursor on a line "below an item" (like example at 3.), which is not an (sub)item itself by aligned with an (sub)item, when I used the (backward)delete key, I managed to get the cursor go as much as I wanted on the left, getting totally out of the document page!!! I imagine this bug might be a security vuln, since there might be a buffer over/under-flow at some point...
