Is this still reproduceable with the latest version from this ppa
(https://launchpad.net/~otto-kesselgulasch/+archive/gimp)? I couldn't
reproduce this in GIMP (13.04 and 13.10).

Bug description:
Sometimes when I open a new file in Gimp or minimize it and then maximize it
again some of the icons would disappear. However, this does not happen always,
but is reproducable also on a clean install. See the screenshot attached here:
