*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1098334 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1098334
I have been experiencing this bug (only after upgrade to saucy) and
mostly in Firefox but also in gnome terminal. Unlike the duplicate bug
#1098334 there is no "flickering" involved. The corrupted character
stays corrupted until you "refresh" the page in some way

Title:
Occasional font/character rendering errors
Status in “xserver-xorg-video-intel” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
When I load a web page or anything else with a lot of text, a few
single characters sometimes appear completely corrupted ("blown up").
Reloading the page, marking and unmarking the respective characters,
scrolling them off the screen and back on etc. (including pressing
Print Screen) makes them display correctly again.
