  Reported on IRC by archannes as follows.  Recreated by me on Ubuntu
  12.10.

      Following steps to reproduce:
      1) open inkscape
      2) In Menu, select: Text > Text and fonts..
       
      The dialog window is shown, at the same time the error message appears, 
saying that inkscape will close now.
