gedit in openbox with 2.99.907 GM45 SNA
I am finding that GM45 SNA seems unusable with 2.99.907 - git bisect pointed to
the bad commit as:

sna/gen4: Sacrifice performance to workaround render corruption
The problems are lines of text keep disappearing (and reappearing) in
gedit, and the occasionally the screen becomes unresponsive for a short
time and these messages appear in dmesg:

Bug description:
After enabling the SNA acceleration method and rebooting, I noticed
that graphical glitches appeared in the letters on Chromium's tab bar
during the mouse hover animation. I've attached a screenshot
illustrating this, particularly with the letter "g" in the screenshot.
