This will help avoid the scenario ("It kinda works for my ipad.", "It
doesn't work for my iPhone.", "Me too!"), and ensures the issue with
your iPad is addressed.

  [Sony VGN-SR29XN_S] Iphone with iOS 7 does not work on Ubuntu

Bug description:
  When plugging in an iPhone with iOS 7 - Currently BETA 4 I receive the 
following message on Ubuntu 13.04 :
  The Device "Nick's iPhone" is locked. Enter the passcode on the device and 
click "Try again".

  The iPhone reporting "Trust the currently connected computer?" Trust/Don't 
Trust.
  This then happens in a continous loop when clicking Trust.
