Mark Swanson, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ .
If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in the development release from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report: apport-collect -p xorg REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER Thank you for your understanding. With Steam dungeon defenders or Team Fortress 2 the box just hangs for up to 10 seconds at a time. This happened with Ubuntu versions 12.10 and 13.04. Also, NVIDIA drivers x86_64-319.23 and x86-64-319.32. ubuntu-bug (I assume) has tagged all the info you need. However, just in case it missed this: (EE) [mi] EQ overflow continuing. 200 events have been dropped. ALSO, I see the kernel migration/? threads are taking a LOT of CPU. Interesting: When the system locks up and I alt-tab to a terminal running top I see: 1. 2-3 mitration threads with very high CPU 2. after 5-15 seconds the migration threads disappear from top, then the game resumes.
